Split isn’t available yet. This page explains what we collect when you join the waitlist or visit this site, why, and how to ask us to delete it. “We” means [company legal name].
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the waitlist.
- Your invite code. When you join, we create a random code for your invite link.
- Who invited you. If you joined through someone’s invite link, we store their invite code with your signup.
- Your answer to “What will you split first?”, if you choose to give one.
- When you joined.
When you visit, our hosting provider, Vercel, processes standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so it can deliver and protect the site.
What we don’t do
- We don’t set cookies, use analytics or run advertising trackers on this site.
- We don’t sell your information.
If you open someone’s invite link, your browser keeps that invite code in session storage for the rest of the visit, so it can be added to your signup. It’s cleared when you close the tab.
The fonts and visual assets used on this page are served directly from this site. The page doesn’t contact a third-party font service.
How we use it
- To contact you about Split’s availability and launch.
- To understand which groups are joining together and what people want to split, so we can plan the launch.
- To keep the waitlist free of spam and abuse.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers that run this site and the waitlist for us. Vercel hosts the site and stores the waitlist data. We may also share information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
[For example: until you ask us to remove it, or until Split launches and you choose whether to create an account.]
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing [contact email]. Every email we send will include a way to unsubscribe. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law.
Children
The waitlist isn’t meant for anyone under [age].
Changes
If we change this page, we’ll update the date at the top.
